Happy New Year!

Everybody seems to have a different calendar date for the "New Year".
I think our new age began last night, but Frank doesn't want to hear any more about politics.
SO! we won't talk about that :-P

What will we talk about?

Infinite Possibilities

You've heard of it, maybe even been there.
I.P. is located downtown in Deming, NM
between the first two traffic lights on Gold Street.
"What do you Collect?" is out slogan... so, what DO you collect???
Comics, Cards, Collectables   is our tagline...
But we have some dvd's in, if you need a movie late-nite and the red-box doesn't carry it. We have a somewhat eclectic selection, never know what you're going to find.

We hope to be getting in some storage solutions soon so if you need a comic box, or a place to organize your gaming/trading cards stop by and let us know what size would fit your needs.

call our hot line / batphone / business phone @ (575) 545-9279 or find us on facebook.

Here we go again!

Frank is expanding the "Brick & Mortar" so I'm trying to drum up some people to come in & see it!
Infinite Possibilities is alive & kickin' in Downtown Deming, New Mexico, U.S.A..
As always, our hours are non-conventional, just like our stuff.
"What do you collect?" has long been our catchphrase, and it still holds as a major question when you come in to see us. So, what do you collect? Is there a piece missing, that you just can't find? call Frank & see if he has one :-)
Come on by, and look around. My guess is that you'll see something you didn't even know they made!
btw, we picked up a Muse, a few years back, her name is Serendipity. That makes us an official Museum as well as a sale showroom. If we tell you something is not for sale, that is why -- it is on display for everyone to see -- maybe even have their picture taken with it; put that in your blog or on your facebook !
But don't despair, there's lots of stuff we will part with: comics, action figures, gently used dvd's, stuffed stuff and LOTS more.

hope to see you soon!

London After Midnight (1927)

Okay, I have NO idea how we got here tonight... but we did.
Nancy (moi) is a total research junkie & loves digging & surfing the web just to accrue more trivia. (I am the most trivial person I know..) So when Frank commented that "London After Midnight" was a "lost film" -- well -- I just had to know more!
imdb.com is one of my favorite places on the web, so I began checking the message board to see if anybody had any more info. There was a link there.. to an article.. that was very interesting.
http://bit.ly/gkfMAd
So I went there and read about somebody who said he'd seen an old copy of the film, years ago.
As a newbie projectionist, movie junkie, and somebody who'd grown up with stories about Hollywood all her life (My Grand-dad had worked at Warner Brothers back in the day.) it all sounded pretty credible, to me.

I hope somebody finds a copy -- even a partial copy -- and puts it on a DVD so Frank & I can watch it someday. I'm not as familiar with Lon Chaney's work as I should be.

An alternate title for it is "the Hypnotist" -- and 1927 was a LONG time ago.

...I see a 4-reel movie carrier, just like I have at work, with a pristine copy of a silent movie from 83 years ago...

Hey, stranger things have happened, right???

How do I write movie reviews???

Hey, y'all!
It's me again: ~Nancy~
Frank thinks it'd be cool to post movie reviews (& stuff) here, so I guess I have to figure out how to do that :-P
Any suggestions??? (wink-wind-nudge-nudge)
Thinking of starting a third title here - one that's theme-appropriate, if yuh kno whut I mean...
There are so many totally cool movie blogs out there, I need to find a 'name' that's gonna stand out - make me unique (as if...) Hard to compete w/ 100,000 other blog-sites.
"House of Frank Movie Reviews" (descriptive...)
"Infinite Possibilities goes to the Movies" (sounds familiar - makes it plagiarism, right??)
could just put it right here on "Let me be Frank" (sometimes the simplest solution is the best...)

Guess I need to give this more thought...
n-kay..
Well, Happy New Year, everyone!!!
2011=4 so, from a numerological point of view, this is gonna keep getting messy (like 2010 wasn't one of the most disaster-ridden years I've ever seen, like, since 1964!)
As they said in the movie about Gypsy Rose Lee, "Ya gotta get a gimmick"
so... I guess I keep looking for one that will make people actually WANT to read what we have to say about Franks movie collection.

I will leave you with this movie making thought, probably from Warner Brothers, back in the 1950s. My mom said she got it from her dad,
"a tree's a tree, a rock's a rock; film it in Griffith Park"

Once More, with Gusto!

Well, here it is, 10 months later...
Hmmmm...
Last tweet read, "320 days ago"

Okay, so it's been a while. I'm gonna try this again.
Mostly just going through & seeing if the House of Frank is still online in cyberspace.
Nancy (that's me! ) set this up last year, in the hopes of something GREAT....
But, I guess the timing wasn't right.
(sometimes it's just not)

Well...
Maybe we're getting closer (?)

Still no geographic location
Frank tweets every day on his Twitter.
I try to tweet mine occasionally.

This is the business end of the business....
(Nancy will NEVER write in a businesslike fashion, so deal with it now...)
BUT Frank doesn't like Blogging, so I guess I get to do it.

So...
Welcome to Infinite Possibilities: The House of Frank.

It's Deming Duck Races Weekend, here in beautiful southern New Mexico.
Hot Air Balloons, Ducks, vendors, music, etc.
Should be fun (& I've got work...)

Infinite Possibilities

Hi, and welcome to the official Blog for Infinite Possibilities and The House of Frank.
The two entities sort of blend/merge together into one, ie: kinda inseparable.
Yesterday was the official resurrection of the biz', so let's document it at 10-10-2009!!!
Infinite Possibilities!
(I like the sound of it...)
(that's why I keep yelling it...)

:-P

We are looking forward to "being" again. God only knows where it's going to go this time!
The possibilities are, well... infinite!
Like the bio on the sidebar says, please join us, journeys are much more fun with a crowd.

I'm gonna sign this, so you don't think Frank has gone wacky..
ttyl (talk to y'all later!)
