London After Midnight (1927)

Okay, I have NO idea how we got here tonight... but we did.
Nancy (moi) is a total research junkie & loves digging & surfing the web just to accrue more trivia. (I am the most trivial person I know..) So when Frank commented that "London After Midnight" was a "lost film" -- well -- I just had to know more!
imdb.com is one of my favorite places on the web, so I began checking the message board to see if anybody had any more info. There was a link there.. to an article.. that was very interesting.

So I went there and read about somebody who said he'd seen an old copy of the film, years ago.
As a newbie projectionist, movie junkie, and somebody who'd grown up with stories about Hollywood all her life (My Grand-dad had worked at Warner Brothers back in the day.) it all sounded pretty credible, to me.

I hope somebody finds a copy -- even a partial copy -- and puts it on a DVD so Frank & I can watch it someday. I'm not as familiar with Lon Chaney's work as I should be.

An alternate title for it is "the Hypnotist" -- and 1927 was a LONG time ago.

...I see a 4-reel movie carrier, just like I have at work, with a pristine copy of a silent movie from 83 years ago...

Hey, stranger things have happened, right???
